After your tour in Dubai and the first 2 days Rugby 7’s match, you fly to South Africa where you will visit Cape Town and it’s surrounding area. Here, your itinerary has been carefully designed to ensure that you see as much as possible of this stunning area in the few days before the Cape Town 7’s match, including a night spent on a game reserve and a visit to Robben Island, the former prison where Nelson Mandela spent much of his incarceration.

Upon arrival at Dubai International Airport you will be met by our Travel representative and transferred to First Central Hotel, Tecom (3*) staying in a classic studio room on bed and breakfast basis.

Overnight: First Central Hotel, Tecom (3*)

30 Nov 2018: Day 1 - Dubai 7’s

Shared transfers to the The Sevens  Stadium to watch Day 1 of the Dubai 7’s. Upon completion return to hotel.

01 Dec 2018: Day 2 - Dubai 7’s

Shared transfers to The Sevens  Stadium to watch Day 2 of the Dubai 7’s. Upon completion return to hotel.

02 Dec 2018: Dubai ? Cape Town

After breakfast leave proceed to airport for your flight to Cape Town.

CAPE TOWN

02 Dec 2018: Arrival

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, where you will be met by a Footprint Sports Travel representative and transferred to City Lodge V & A Waterfront (or similar) for your first night accommodation on bed and breakfast basis.

03 Dec 2018: Cape Town ? Ceres

Transfer to Ceres, to Inverdoorn Game Reserve (or similar) staying on a full-board basis. In the late afternoon, enjoy a game drive before dinner.

Overnight stay: Inverdoorn Game Reserve

04 Dec 2018: Ceres ? Cape Town

Early morning, enjoy a second game drive before breakfast. Depart and transfer to Cape Town, City Lodge V & A Waterfront (or similar) for your next 5 night accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis.

05 Dec 2018: Cape Town

After breakfast, commence your full day Peninsula Tour which includes a cable car trip to the summit of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for the best 360-degree aerial views of Cape Town.

Travel to the village of Hout Bay and depart on a 45-minute boat cruise to Duiker Island, taking in the breath-taking scenery of the famous Chapman’s Peak Drive and the Sentinel Mountain.

Visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, globally recognised for its extraordinarily rich, diverse and unique fauna and flora. Here, you can enjoy a one-way funicular ride to Cape Point to see the view where the two currents meet

A brief stop at Simon’s Town, nestled in the False Bay for a delicious inclusive lunch (excluding beverages), before visiting the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach, where you can view the African Penguins in their natural habitat. This colony is one of only a few remaining in the world. After visiting the penguins, transfer back to the hotel.

06 Dec 2018: Cape Town

Walk down to the V & A Waterfront for your return ferry trip to Robben Island. This history of this Island goes back thousands of years and includes a wide range of former uses, including a pantry and source of raw materials by seafarers and colonists, a whaling station, hospital, mental asylum and military base. However, it is best known as a place of banishment and the most famous prisoner who spent 19 of his 27 years of incarceration there was Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s previous State President. Since 1996, Robben Island has become a museum and a former prison inmate will guide you through the tour.

07 Dec 2018: Day 1 ? Cape Town 7’s

Take a short 10 mins Walk to the Cape Town Stadium to watch Day 1 of the Cape Town 7’s.

08 Dec 2018: Day 2? Cape Town 7’s

Watch Day 2 of the Cape Town 7’s.

09 Dec 2018: Departure

Depart and transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight back home.
